Terms of Service
We've written these as plainly as we can. No legalese, no hiding behind vague language. If you have a question, just ask us at [email protected].
The short version: use Say It Send It honestly, don't abuse it, and we'll keep it running reliably for you.
Who this applies to
"We", "us", and "our" means Say It Send It. "You" means anyone who creates an account or uses our service at sayitsendit.com.
By using Say It Send It, you agree to these terms. If you're using it on behalf of a business, that business also agrees to these terms.
Your account
Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. If something looks off, let us know immediately at [email protected].
Say It Send It is not intended for people under 16. If we discover an account belongs to someone younger, we'll close it.
What you can and can't do
You can use Say It Send It to send messages, content, and communications as intended. You own what you write and send.
You can't:
- Use the service to send spam, harassment, or abusive content
- Use it to distribute malware, phishing links, or anything harmful
- Try to break, hack, or reverse-engineer the platform
- Impersonate other people or organisations
- Resell or repurpose our service without written permission
- Use it for anything illegal
We can close accounts that violate these rules, with no refund or warning required for serious breaches.
Payment and plans
If you're on a free plan, it's genuinely free. We don't ask for a card, and we don't sell your data to make up for it.
If you're on a paid plan, you'll be billed in advance each billing cycle. All prices shown are in AUD unless stated otherwise. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for unused time, but if something went wrong on our end, reach out and we'll make it right.
We'll give you at least 30 days notice before changing prices for existing customers.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.
If you'd prefer to request deletion by email, send us a message at [email protected] and we'll take care of it.
When your account is cancelled, your data is deleted within 30 days from active systems, and within 60 days from backups. We can't recover it after that, so export anything you want to keep before you go.
We can also suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion if the terms are violated. Abuse of our team members results in immediate termination.
Your content
What you write and send is yours. We don't claim ownership over your content.
By using our service, you give us a limited licence to store and transmit your content so the service actually works. That's it. We don't use your content for anything else.
We may remove content that violates these terms, but we're not obligated to pre-screen everything you send.
Uptime and reliability
We take reliability seriously and aim to keep Say It Send It available around the clock. But we provide the service "as is" and we can't guarantee it'll be perfect or uninterrupted, and we're not liable for outages beyond our control.
We'll notify you of scheduled maintenance when we can, and we post any major issues to our status page.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we'll email you and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
Liability
We're not liable for damages resulting from your use of Say It Send It, loss of data, or third-party actions. To the extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before any claim.
